"Striving Together for the Faith of the Gospel" - Philippians 1:27

1.

That scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. (II Timothy 3:16) We believe that the Bible is the final authority of our "Statement of Faith and Practices".

2.

That the one true living God, (Exodus 20:3) who was, and is, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, (Exodus 3:6, Luke 20:37-38) created the heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1) and who is revealed in, and consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19)

3.

That all believers should worship and praise God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:21-24) That worship and praise should be given free expression by following all biblical and godly examples. (John 13:15)

4.

That no person can be saved without accepting Jesus as their personal savior. (John 14:6, Jude 14) That besides Jesus, there is no other provision for men to be saved. (Acts 4:10-12) That salvation is received through personal repentance and being born again through the Spirit of Almighty God. (Acts 2:37-39, John 3:3-8)

5.

That water baptism by immersion is the only method of water baptism that is biblically sound. (Matthew 3:16) That Jesus is the one who baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:11) That the operations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active and much needed in the church today. (I Corinthians 12:7-11, 14:1)

6.

In the virgin birth of Jesus. (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26-35) That Jesus and Jesus alone is the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16) That Jesus has all power in heaven and earth. (Matthew 28:18) That Jesus was crucified and willingly died for our sins. (John 10:16-18, Mark 10:45) That Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father. (Acts 7:55-56) That Jesus is coming back to earth in His glorified body. (John 14:1-3, Jude 14)

7.

That the local church is the only spiritual theocratic order ordained by God. (Matthew 16:18, I Timothy 3:15) That the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is governed by the Holy Spirit working through recognized bishops and elders. That the bishop is the presiding elder and that the elders must be recognized and ordained into one of the ascension gift ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teacher. (Ephesians 4:11).

8.

That there will be a resurrection of the dead and that the resurrection of the believer will take place prior to the personal, literal, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ, with the resurrection of the unbeliever taking place after the 1,000-year reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 24:14-15, Revelation 20:1-12)

9.

That a statement of faith and practice covers only a few important doctrinal positions and the entirety of the Bible consisting of its 66 books is the final authority of our faith and practices. (Acts 20:25-27, II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 3:16)
